Fall is here:
7 rituals to welcome the season.
I celebrated Autumn Equinox by simmering some mulling spices on the stove, homemade brunch with super clean and delicious pumpkin pancakes, dreaming up day retreat offerings with my partner for next year, and spending time with my sweet little family at home.
It’s been busy lately. I’m in a building phase and have been working hard to create better balance in my life by freeing up some of my schedule to make more time for myself. I have a tendency to give, give, give. I love being of service to others. I feel most in my power when I’m doing my purpose work, cultivating community, and seeing it thrive.
To celebrate the shift to fall, my commitment to myself is balance. Of making sure I take the same time for myself that I give to others. Lately it’s looked like making space for myself to simply exist with no agenda. Making space to show up just as much as a student as I do a teacher at The Studio. Finding balance between serving others and serving myself.
Harmony is a sense of inner peace and balance, where the different aspects of our life — physical, mental, emotional, spiritual — are in alignment.
